Arslan ha 30 anni. Dal Turkmenistan è scappato prima in Georgia e poi in Europa, dove finalmente non rischia più di essere picchiato, arrestato, confinato in ospedali psichiatrici perché omosessuale.
Una volta al sicuro ha messo in contatto l'associazione che l'ha aiutato a richiedere l'asilo umanitario - La Tenda di Gionata - con altre persone dell'Asia Centrale che hanno la sua stessa esperienza, ma che ancora sono in zone a rischio.
Tra queste c'è Dayana. Anche lei 30enne e turkmena, è una donna trans che ha conosciuto violenza, carcere, tortura. L'ho intervistata per New Ways Ministry
