Police in Kisii County have taken a Grade 9 student into custody as the primary suspect in the brutal rape and murder of two young girls from Nkura Village, Bomorenda location, in Kisii South Sub-county.
The victims, five year old Annah Bahati and four year old Stacy, were reported missing before their bodies were discovered. Investigators believe the children may have been sexually assaulted prior to their deaths, though official post-mortem results are still pending.
