Watching these protocols adopt treasury tokens as collateral is like watching someone put a heavy lead weight on a raft. It is supposed to stabilize things but when the market dips that weight is going to drag everything down with it. I forgot to feed the goldfish. The operational risks are not even being discussed because everyone is too focused on the yield. When the redemption mechanics break down and you cannot get your money back, the yield will not look so attractive anymore.
