The shift toward real world assets is the only thing keeping defi from becoming a total joke. We need to stop pretending that fake money for fake actions is a sustainable business model. It is just a cycle of misery. The bartender looks like he wants to quit his job. If a protocol cannot generate fees from legitimate economic demand it has no reason to exist. Investors need to start demanding audits and clear revenue streams instead of just staring at the yield percentage.
