I remember when everyone thought yield farming was a license to print money. Those days are gone, and now we are in the era of pretending we aren't all just guessing. The shift to utility is just the industry growing up, or so they say. It is more like the industry is realizing it needs to look professional to suck in the next layer of capital. It is all just optics. If it actually worked like a real bank, it would have to follow the rules, and that would kill the magic. The wall clock is ticking too loud. We are stuck in a weird purgatory between decentralization and becoming the monsters we hated.
