QuSecure Tests Post-Quantum Protection on US Army SystemsQuSecure tested its QuProtect R3 post-quantum cryptography platform on US Army tactical systems during Project Convergence exercises.
The platform was used for quantum-resistant communications, crypto management and algorithm discovery in tactical networks Field tests involved military personnel in conditions close to real deployment After the trials, QuProtect R3 reached TRL 7, meaning the system was demonstrated in an operational-like environment QuSecure spent nearly two years adapting the platform with the Army’s C5ISR team under the SBIR program The goal is to prepare defense networks for future quantum threats, including harvest now, decrypt later attacksThe bigger signal: post-quantum security is moving from theory into military field testing, as the US prepares federal systems for migration by 2030–2031.
