A lot of Trump supporters, especially ranchers, were furious over the 90-day foreign beef window. Today he said he’ll let farmers process their own food to break the Big 4 packer monopoly.
Does that change how you see the imports? The cheap foreign beef still hits Sept. 1, right when most calves sell. Going after the packers is a longer fight. Does this help, or is it still undercutting the people who voted America First?
