Met Office uses unreliable temperature records from Kew Gardens to record the hottest temperatures in the UK
The Met Office operates hundreds of weather stations at locations the length and breadth of the United Kingdom. One such weather station is sited at Kew Gardens which frequently records the hottest temperatures in the UK.
A few days ago, the Met Office admitted that Kew Gardens is a CIMO Class 5 site.
“Class 5 sites should not be used for climatological purposes, I look forward to the Met Office removing the spurious ‘record temperature’ from their website,” Paul Homewood writes...
