Impermanent loss, in plain numbers ๐
Deposit $1,000 split evenly between two tokens. If one token's price moves a lot relative to the other, your withdrawal value can end up lower than if you'd just held both tokens separately.
That impermanent loss grows with:
โ Bigger price divergence between the two assets
โ Wider time spent out of range
โ Lower fees earned to offset it
Fees earned can offset it. But only if your range and fee tier actually match the pair.
