Who cares? 🇮🇱👇
Sometimes, all it takes is a slight shift in perspective — and a desperate cry becomes a call to action. Who takes responsibility? Who chooses to participate? Who imagines that things could be different?
“Who Cares” is a short-term art lab for artists working in different media, taking place in Tel aviv in July–August.
The lab invites artists to explore democratic values through imagination, dialogue, and collective agency.
We are looking for artists interested in participatory, interactive, community-based, socially engaged, or public-facing practices.
The final works will be presented as part of a cultural-social event exploring democracy and influence among young adults.
Application deadline: 15 July 2026
Organisers:
Tzedek Centers — an NGO that operates with an eye towards Israel’s long-term democratic future through a combination of deep grassroots work and shorter-term, high-impact initiatives.
Young Adults Unit of the Tel Aviv Municipality
KakdelArt — a platform supporting artists’ integration into the local art scene.
