Paper was extremely tough, even the toughest in the recent past history of UPSC. But still there would be 10 to 11 thousand people who would clear pre and will write mains and 3000 approx will advance to interviews. Even after hard work many serious candidates will not get opportunity to write mains and this is not the story of 2026 but it happens every year. It's not the time to get drifted by noise around the tough paper but to evaluate your passion, your dedication, your resolve and discipline.
