Initial expectation vs. actual price delivery 👇
Initially, I expected price to complete the second leg in the direction marked in red, reaching the lower FVG.
However, instead of extending directly into that move, price formed a smaller internal second leg, as marked in green, and delivered the expected displacement within the internal structure.
This is a good reminder that the market doesn't always complete the larger, more obvious leg in the way we initially anticipate. Sometimes, the same price action can be delivered inside a smaller internal structure before the larger objective is reached.
The key is to stay flexible and follow the price delivery rather than becoming attached to a single scenario.
