Bitdeer is putting 28 megawatts of machines into a wind-powered Texas data centreThat is roughly 1.93 EH/s of hash rate at the Kati 1 site in Willacy County, deployed in batches from September.
The structure is new for Soluna: it supplies the site, the power and the operations, Bitdeer buys and owns the machines, and the two split what gets mined. The data centre itself is built for 83 megawatts and turned its first gross profit in the second quarter.
