one thing I think everyone should be doing is building monitoring tools and working with ai to analyze their trades, it's unbelievable
before you would have to diary everything out and review and probably take a lot of time to spot patterns or be really good at manipulating data to surface the relevant points
now, you literally just need an automated way to log all your trades - if you just trade perps it's easy since you can pull the data from exchanges
but when you trade perps, stocks, onchain etc, it becomes pretty complex pretty fast
it's amazing once you have all the data that you can just ask claude to compile the data and spot patterns and it will surface them
for example, I had realized for a while now that once I have a big win I become quite relax and more risk prone, and I probably take a trade or two I shouldn't
but just ran this via claude and was quite surprised at how many times this happens and how much money I actually give back making this mistake over and over again
so from now on I will have this in mind
I also built a bot that I talk to and prompts me on each of my trades, so I can easily add the above as an observation and a rule for the bot to take into account and prompt me about it when I'm about to make the same mistake
