BitBox pushed v9.26.5 because they found flaws that could have wiped everyone out. They claim AI found the bugs before the bad actors did. That is a nice story for the retail marks to chew on while they panic sell. The reality is that your hardware wallet is just a piece of plastic running buggy code that you never bothered to read. And my bagel is stale. If you think your keys are safe just because they are offline, you are delusional. The code is bloated, the attack vectors are growing, and the industry is getting wrecked by their own complexity.
