OpenAI has launched GPT-6 Astra, which it calls its most intelligent and aligned model yet, capable of operating a computer entirely on its own.
Astra is built to work autonomously on a computer, and OpenAI says it likely marks the onset of artificial general intelligence: a shift where users no longer need to click a mouse or type to get things done.
On benchmarks it saturates FrontierMath Tier 4 at 97.6% and ARC-AGI-3 at 99.9%, scores 100% on ExploitBench, and hits 72.6% on OSWorld computer-use tasks in roughly 47% less time than GPT-5.6 Sol.
Astra is priced at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output. It is live now for OpenAI's Daybreak program, with ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, the API and AWS following in the coming days.
