The Central Bank of Nigeria has launched a regulatory pilot program for virtual asset service providers, with the first batch of participants including regional fintech and digital asset companies. KuCoin is the only global exchange selected. The pilot focuses on anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, and counter-proliferation financing compliance, aiming to improve the risk management and regulatory capabilities of the digital asset industry and align it with international standards. Participating institutions are required to regularly submit regulatory data and promote compliance practices in areas such as corporate governance, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and the "travel rules" for cross-border transactions. KuCoin CEO BC Wong stated that the company will strengthen cooperation with global regulatory agencies to enhance transparency and risk management capabilities.😱😱😱
