The U.S. earnings season is still underway, and the market also has a few important events coming up that are definitely worth watching.

White House meeting with crypto industry leaders
FOMC Meeting Minutes — 2:00 PM ET
Wednesday could set the tone for the rest of the week. The White House meeting is interesting on its own, while the Fed minutes could give us more insight into the central bank's future policy.
Thursday, August 20:
Initial Jobless Claims — 8:30 AM ET
Federal Reserve Balance Sheet — 4:30 PM ET
Friday, August 21:
S&P Manufacturing/Services/Composite PMI — 9:45 AM ET
So after a quiet start to the week, the interesting part begins today. I'd be paying especially close attention to Wednesday evening — the market could easily get a good reason to make a move.
