Strategy has conducted its first buyback of preferred STRC shares. The company did not purchase any new Bitcoin. Last week, Michael Saylor's Strategy executed its first buyback of its own preferred STRC shares worth $25 million. The share price reacted with an increase but still has not recovered to its $100 par value. At the same time, Strategy raised an additional $544 million through a secondary issuance and sale of MSTR common stock. Over the past year, these shares have already dropped by nearly 85%. The company also increased its dollar reserves by $525 million. According to Saylor, these reserves now cover STRC dividend payments for more than two years. Last week, Strategy neither bought nor sold Bitcoin. The company's balance sheet still holds 843,775 BTC and $3.75 billion in cash reserves. Since 2020, the company has spent $63.69 billion on Bitcoin purchases at an average price of $75,476 per coin.
