BitMEX Accused of Misappropriating 622 BTC ($40.4 million) in Customer Funds

BKX Services and a BitMEX user have filed a class-action lawsuit, alleging that the exchange deliberately engineered forced liquidations of customer positions and then transferred the remaining 622 BTC into its own insurance fund.

BitMEX representatives have dismissed the lawsuit as baseless.
