Bloomberg reports that the SEC has sent the White House a proposal for new crypto custody rules covering investment advisers and funds. After OMB review, the SEC will vote and open at least a 60-day public comment period, with the goal of clarifying how firms can custody client digital assets without violating SEC requirements.
