Over the past 24 hours, $486 million in cryptocurrency positions were liquidated across major exchanges — with longs taking the biggest hit.

Data from CoinGlass, cited by CryptoNews on September 28, shows that out of the total, $392 million came from long positions, while shorts accounted for $937.63 million. Bitcoin-related contracts saw $107 million in liquidations, while Ethereum dominated with $742.89 million wiped out. The single largest liquidation occurred on Binance’s ETHUSDT pair, valued at $11.8216 million.
