BCCI सचिव देवजीत सैकिया ने कहा - "चीफ़ सेलेक्टर अजीत अगरकर शहर से बाहर थे। वे मीटिंग में शामिल नहीं हो सके क्योंकि यह मीटिंग बहुत कम समय के नोटिस पर बुलाई गई थी। वे ऐसी जगह पर थे जहाँ से वे ऑनलाइन भी नहीं जुड़ सकते थे।"
