For the past several years, MeitY's Work Based Learning programme at CERT-In has been open only to Women, SC, ST, and EWS candidates, excluding OBC and General (non-EWS) applicants.
The question is simple: Why should equally qualified General and OBC students be denied the opportunity to apply for government-funded skill development programmes?
Shouldn't merit-based learning opportunities be open to all?
