We are looking for an experienced Core Performance Engineer to analyze and optimize EPC/5GC & IMS Core network performance, identify root causes of degradations, and provide technical recommendations to improve customer network performance.
๐ง Key Responsibilities:
โข Analyze EPC/5GC & IMS Core network performance and troubleshoot degradations
โข Perform on-demand analysis for complaints and performance issues
โข Develop KPIs, counters, dashboards, and reporting use cases
โข Recommend tuning and optimization actions for Core network nodes
โข Support customer workshops, presentations, and technical discussions
โข Collaborate with teams to enhance tools and Big Data use cases
๐ง Requirements:
โข Strong knowledge of 5G Core, EPC, IMS, and VoLTE architectures
โข Experience with signaling protocols: Diameter, GTP, PFCP, SCTP, MAP, TCP/IP
โข Understanding of telecom interfaces: S1, S11, S5, S6a, Gx, Gy, N1/N2/N3/N4, Rx, Ro, etc.
โข Experience with vendor tools and Core network equipment
โข Knowledge of 5G SA/NSA is highly preferred
โข Understanding of E2E telecom architecture and IP routing concepts
