Senior Packet Core Engineer
A Packet Core Engineer works with the core network components of mobile and data networks, in the context of 2G,3G 4G, 5G, and other communication technologies. The role typically involves configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting packet core network components.
Work experience with minimum 3 years in the field.
Below are the required knowledge and skills for a Packet Core Engineer:
A Packet Core Engineer should have a blend of both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in managing and troubleshooting modern packet core networks, along with an understanding of mobile communication technologies.
Good knowledge for Packet Core Signaling scenarios ,GPRS,vEPC,DNS, DHCP, and NAT.
Good knowledge for differnet Packet Core node functions is a must.
Good knowledge of network cloud and virtualization ,Understanding of virtualizing network functions and deploying them on cloud platforms.
Good knowledge of network security.
Good knowledge for networking TCP,UDP,VLANs, VPNs,IPv6 and QoS.
