My point is simple: focus on WHY, not WHO.

Women are oppressed, and staying silent about it only allows harmful systems to continue. Men have historically held most of the power and selfishly built and maintained systems that often benefited men at the expense of women. But instead of turning the conversation into a gender war and blaming an entire gender, we should focus on the attitudes and behaviors that create the problem in the first place.

To me, one of the biggest roots of this is selfishness—people prioritizing their own desires, comfort, power, or benefit at the expense of others.

This isn't about saying one gender is inherently bad. Both men and women can be selfish, harmful, or contribute to harmful systems. Gender is not the problem—the mindset, intentions, and actions are.

If we actually want solutions, we need to understand the problem beyond just blaming who is doing it and ask why it's happening.

I don't support gender wars. I support holding harmful behavior accountable, being willing to learn and be corrected, and having conversations to understand rather than simply argue.

So let's try to be a little more selfless, listen to each other, and focus on fixing the root of the problem—not just fighting over who to blame.
