How to send welcome messages directly to new members?
Combot can message new members privately — sending them a welcome message or captcha in DM rather than in the group chat. Two things are needed on your end.
First, give Combot the "Add members" permission in your group. Second, turn on "Approve new members" in your group settings. On Android this is under "Group type" → "Approve new members".
Once both are set, Combot picks up join requests and handles them privately, without any noise in the chat.
No subscription needed — it works for all groups.
If you haven't tried the new Mini App captcha yet, now is a good time. It's a proper web-based challenge that bots have a much harder time getting past compared to a button in the chat. You can switch to it under Moderation → New users → Captcha → Mini App.
