Olam Group has reported a 488.7 per cent increase in profit after tax and minority interest (PATMI) to S$1.9 billion (US$ 1.49 billion) for the first half of 2026. This substantial rise is primarily attributed to divestment-related gains.

Specifically, S$1.75 billion (US$1.37 billion) of this amount is derived from a one-off gain resulting from the disposal of a 44.58 per cent stake in Olam Agri, the sale of Mindsprint, and a fair value gain associated with the remaining stake in Olam Agri.

The Singapore-based food and agribusiness group stated that revenue for the first half decreased by 18.3 per cent year-on-year to S$12.5 billion (US$9.79 billion). This decline is largely due to lower input prices within its ofi business, particularly in the coffee and cocoa sectors.
