The ships — Carlo Bergamini and Virginio Fasan, both commissioned in 2013 — transfer in 2028 and 2029.
They carry Aster 15/30 missiles, AESA radar, and one has towed sonar for submarine hunting.
Greece will swap Italian anti-ship missiles for its own Exocets or Harpoons.
The deal is structured as 2+2, with talks already underway for two more.
Italy is replacing them with newer FREMM EVOs.
Greece is buying two used Italian FREMM frigates for about €460 million.
