Situation on the Konstantinovka & Druzhkovka directions, Donetsk Oblast:Over the last few weeks, Russian forces continued their offensive operations in the Konstantinovka and Druzhkovka areas, although their primary focus has shifted away from capturing the rest of Konstantinovka to advancing on the flanks.
In the west, after the initial breakthrough towards Druzhkovka from the southwest, Russian forces began expanding the width of their breach, pushing eastwards through the treelines onto the tactical heights, and further towards the gullies west of Nikolaypolye. Attacks are also taking place towards the village of Raiskoe.
To the east, the Russians cleared a number of advanced Ukrainian strongpoints west of Stepanovka and expanded their zone of infiltration further north into the forested gullies. Additionally, after capturing the village of Rozkoshnoe, Russian assault groups advanced further northwest and captured the eastern part of Nikolaypolye, which has allowed them to launch assault operations on the treelines to the north. Ukrainian forces cleared out some of the earlier Russian infiltrations in the nearby forested gullies.
To the northeast, Russian forces established control over most of the remaining fields west of Konstantinovka and expanded their zone of infiltration into the western part of Alexeyevo-Druzhkovka. Some DRGs even managed to reach the nearby village of Kondratovka, on approach to Druzhkovka. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continue to periodically enter the northwestern parts of Konstantinovka, where clashes occasionally occur with Russian soldiers. Russian infiltrators continue to approach southeastern Alexeyevo-Druzhkovka from the direction of Konstantinovka.
Further northeast, after capturing the village of Molocharka, the Russians improved their positions to the north, west, and northwest, infiltrating the villages of Stenky and Izhevka. From there, Russian DRGs began infiltrating the village of Kurtovka, while ordinary assault groups expanded their zone of infiltration to the outskirts of Popasnoe.
To the east, Russian forces continued slowly clearing out the remnants of the salient west of Chasov Yar, improving their positions in and around the villages of Chervonoe and Nikolaevka. Other assault groups captured some new positions along the railway line and re-entered the eastern part of Verolyubovka, threatening to physically encircle the remaining Ukrainian formations still present west of Chasov Yar.
