Situation on the Dobropolye direction, Donetsk Oblast:Over the last two weeks, the situation for Ukraine has continued to deteriorate, as Russian forces achieve additional tactical breakthroughs.
In the southwest, Russian forces continued their high-intensity assault operations in the Vodianskoye agglomeration, attacking north to Matyashevo and Novogrishino, while other assault groups continue heavy fighting for Svetloye and Vodyanskoye. Some soldiers managed to penetrate west through Chernigovka (Krasnoyarskoye), reaching the village of Dobropolye and the fields to the north, and infiltrating north towards the southern outskirts of Dobropolye City. Meanwhile, fighting continues for the western streets of Belitskoye and the nearby fields, where Russia is trying to clear out the remaining Ukrainian holdouts.
To the northeast, the Russians captured the remaining treeline positions east of the Belitska Mine and cleared the salient south of the railway line. Other assault groups improved their positions along the railway line, capturing another key Ukrainian strongpoint. Additionally, Russian forces were able to gain a foothold in Annovka and have begun infiltrating throughout the northeastern suburbs of Dobropolye, cutting two of the vital Ukrainian logistical routes. Some DRGs have reached the edge of the city centre, while other soldiers attempt to enter the city from the east.
To the east, Russian forces broke through Ukrainian positions north of Novoe Donbass, capturing the tactical heights south of Stepoe, before entering and capturing Stepoe. From there, they began deep infiltrations up to the southern edge of Rubizhnoe, while other forces recaptured the village of Volnoe. Additionally, deep infiltrations are being carried out up multiple parallel treelines to the southern outskirts of Zolotoe Kolodez, while fighting continues for the adjacent forested gullies.
Further east, the Russians captured the rest of the forests north of Shakhovoe and the nearby clay quarries, before launching assaults towards Kucherov Yar. As a result of this recent fighting, some soldiers managed to entrench in a number of treeline positions just south of Kucherov Yar.
