We have won important battles like access to contraception, the right to abortion, and financial autonomy.
These achievements have empowered us to take control of our lives and bodies.
But for trans people, achieving medical self-determination remains a distant goal.
In 2024, never in Europe has a hormonal treatment been researched, tested, and commercialized for trans people.
Our day-to-day reality is that we still have to use inappropriate hormonal treatments and sometimes administer them in dangerous conditions.
Imagine not having access to the right healthcare, and having
to rely on unsafe methods.
