NMIMS Day-1 Experience:
Competency Test:
Verbal Ability: Para-completion based question, Critical Reasoning questions, 1 RC based on a Biography on which factual questions (Direct from passage) were asked along with an Antonym of a word.
Mental Ability: Data Arrangement based question
Managerial Ability: Course of Action based questions
Overall, it was very easy even in comparison to NMAT, most students were able to finish the same in 25-30mins.
After the test there was a break for refreshments.
AI Based Interview:
A laptop was placed and behind that a panelist was sitting.
12 mins for AI based questions and then 2 mins for follow-up questions from panelist.
4-5 AI questions were based on the SOP provided by the student.
Student has mentioned about Work-experience of Audit with a Europe based client in SOP, along with desire to go for CFA.
Questions asked:
Work experience
What is happening in European Economy and how will it affect India?
How a background from Finance will help in MBA?
Follow-up question by Panelist: Tell me something about the Paytm fraud.
The panelists were very chill, received the same feedback from other candidates as well.
