BMW has brought out the new X7 at the Nürburgring — it seems the Germans are testing the top version M60 with a V8.

The prototype features four exhaust pipes, and the crossover itself has become noticeably more high-tech than the current model: a new iDrive with a panoramic display, a more luxurious interior, and equipment in the spirit of the new 7 Series are expected.

Under the hood, the M60 may retain a 4.4-liter V8 with around 600 horsepower. The premiere of the new generation X7 is expected in 2027.
