President Trump & senior aides are considering LIMITED STRIKES against Iranian military capabilities around the Strait of Hormuz to prevent Iran from rebuilding systems used to target shipping.
The plan would involve periodic strikes against Iran’s radar, air defense, and anti-ship missile capabilities.
U.S. 🇺🇸 concerns INCREASED after Iran 🇮🇷 fired an anti-aircraft missile toward an F-35 in recent days that were providing cover for vessels 🚢 in the strait.
The missile didn’t come close enough to threaten the aircraft, but the launch was evidence that Tehran is rebuilding its military capabilities.
CENTCOM has warned that periodic strikes may be necessary to keep dozens of oil tankers moving through the Gulf relatively safe daily.
