ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា បានចាប់ផ្ដើមបង្កើតរដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញ លើកដំបូងនៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៤៧ ។ រដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញដែលកម្ពុជា កំពុងប្រើប្រាស់នាពេលបច្ចុប្បន្នជារដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញលើកទី៦ ត្រូវបានអនុម័តដោយសភាធម្មនុញ្ញ នៅថ្ងៃ២១ កញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ១៩៩៣ ហើយត្រូវបានព្រះមហាក្សត្រនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា ព្រះបរមរតនកោដ្ឋព្រះវររាជបិតា ឯករាជ្យជាតិ នរោត្តម សីហនុ ប្រកាសឲ្យប្រើប្រាស់ជាផ្លូវការដោយព្រះរាជក្រម ចុះថ្ងៃទី២៤ កញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ១៩៩៣។ រដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញនេះមាន១៦ជំពូក និង ១៥៨ មាត្រា។

Cambodia first drafted its constitution in 1947. The current Constitution of Cambodia, the Sixth Constitution, was approved by the Constituent Assembly on September 21, 1993, and was officially promulgated by the King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Majesty King Norodom Sihanouk. Proclamation on September 24, 1993. This constitution has 16 chapters and 158 articles.
