👀 Ever looked at a quiet options market and thought: “Calls are cheap. So buying them must be a good trade.” But there’s a catch: A cheap option still needs enough movement, soon enough. If price barely moves, theta keeps taking value away. If volatility stays low, there may be no IV boost to help either. Before buying a call, ask three things: • How much movement is already priced in? • How much time do I have? • What happens if price moves in my direction, just too slowly? Options don’t only care where price goes. They care how fast it gets there!
