Creation groans as in labor pains, Paul writes to the Christians in Rome. Even now, two thousand years later, we see all around us that the world is suffering. Children are dying of hunger, animals are dying, harvests are failing due to drought. If you look at the news, you would become despondent. And yet there is hope. Because misery does not have the last word. Thanks to Jesus, the future is hopeful.
