New gas repricing rules under EIP-8037 and EIP-8038 could break contracts that rely on fixed gas assumptions Potentially affected patterns include Solidity’s 2,300-gas stipend, hardcoded gas limits, and logic relying on gasleft() Most smart contracts are expected to remain unaffected, but some may require code changes or higher gas limits Developers are being encouraged to test their contracts against the new gas schedule before the upgrade
Glamsterdam has not yet launched on Ethereum mainnet and remains in the testing phase.
