8 Rabi‘ al-Thani — the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyedah Fatimah… — Basira Press — TG.ME

8 Rabi‘ al-Thani — the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyedah Fatimah al-Zahra, according to the first narration.

“Indeed, We have granted you al-Kawthar.”

(Qur’an 108:1)

O Allah, how long will humanity remain thirsty before it truly comes to know Sayyedah Fatimah, peace be upon her, and drink from the abundance of goodness that flows through her?

Perhaps some truths are so deeply rooted in the heart that they need no explanation.

For the one whose allegiance to AhlBayt is more than a name, and whose heart still carries an ember from the burning of the tents, the Fatimiyyah nights can never pass like ordinary nights.

They arrive carrying an ancient grief, a sacred remembrance, and a love that refuses to grow cold.

When these nights draw near, the heart finds itself wondering where to begin.

With mourning?

With preparing gatherings in her remembrance?

With reading, studying, and seeking to understand the dimensions of her suffering?

With writing, speaking, and reminding others of her story?

And still, whatever one does seems too little before the magnitude of her station and the weight of her tragedy.

For these days are not merely an anniversary to be observed and then left behind.

They are an amanah—a trust entrusted to those who love her:

To carry the remembrance of Sayyedah Fatimah al-Zahra, peace be upon her, and to preserve her grievance with sincerity.

To carry it in our voices, our pens, our gatherings, our learning, our tears, and in every means by which remembrance may remain alive.

Perhaps this is what true love demands:

Not merely to grieve for what has passed, but to ensure that its memory is never buried beneath the silence of time.

The Fatimiyyah nights are therefore more than a commemoration.

They are a covenant of remembrance.

A promise that the story of Fatimah will continue to be spoken, studied, mourned, and carried from one heart to another—until her name and her remembrance reach every horizon.

Please do mention your sister in your sincere prayers at these nights 🙏
