At this point, it seems like a coordinated op to rehabilitate Jolani - a literal commander of the precursor to ISIS (ISI in Iraq before Syria was added, but same ideology and brutality) and also Al Qaeda, both of whom are Mossad and CIA cutouts.
Not just to cover up the crimes of the "New Syria," but to succeed in weakening the Muslim Ummah by turning people against Iran and Hezbollah at a time when the Zionists and US are directly at war with both. People will either be more reluctant about their solidarity or will even cheer when bombs are dropped on Lebanon and Iran.
The fact that so many internet celebrities started to tweet similar things at the same time indicates that a coordinated effort is likely behind this all.
Direct pressure from the Jewish lobby couldn't work, so they pressure people from a route that is more confusing and masks itself in a "Muslim" face: Gulf Arab monarchies.
They can't get people to submit to Zionist pressure, but they can use the same old trick of sectarian division, and unfortunately we have plenty of useful idiots whose sectarian prejudice overrides their rational mind and makes them easily susceptible to such tricks.
This attempt to indirectly slander Iran and the resistance by rehashing old lies about Syria using dubious reports from NGOs run and/or funded by liberal Jewish supremacists is not an accident.
