❗️Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs admits that it is doing NOTHING for Oscar Jenkins instead relying on Ukraine to negotiate with Russia on his release.
DFAT really have abandoned Oscar Jenkins. Oscar Jenkins knows this - that's why he is asking to join the Russian army.
Even if Ukraine was going to help lobby the release of Oscar Jenkins - Russia would not speak to Ukraine about him.
The Russians consider Oscar Jenkins to be an AUSTRALIAN mercenary.
It's a disgrace that DFAT has abandoned him. It's a known fact that Zelensky rang Albanese to urge him not to negotiate direct with Russia. Zelensky assured Albanese that Ukraine will be able to save Oscar.
