❗️Australian Oscar Jenkins, who served on the Ukrainian frontline, says he offered to change allegiances and fight alongside Vladimir Putin’s forces after being sentenced by Russia to more than a decade in jail.
The cricket coach turned Ukrainian foreign fighter spoke candidly in interview footage first shared by the ABC, saying he had previously considered fighting for Myanmar and Israel but decided serving in Ukraine was “easier”, before offering to enlist with Russian forces.
