From gatherers to entrepreneurs: Through Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs), tribal SHGs receive training, processing equipment, working capital and value-addition support—shifting them from raw-produce sellers → community enterprise owners. 3. Market integration & empowerment: TRIFED facilitates branding, Haats, exhibitions, GI recognition and e-commerce linkages. 4,172 VDVKs sanctioned, 2,911 functional and 12.48 lakh tribal members linked by July 2026, with significant participation of tribal women.
