ETH is finally outperforming SOL on this move..
so yeah, i’m reopening my Ethereum ecosystem watchlist..
here’s what i’m actually watching:
1) ETH itself
$2,250 is the line for me.
lose it and this was probably another squeeze.
get acceptance above $2,500 and i’ll start moving further down the ETH beta curve.
2) ETF flows
Aug 20 printed roughly +$220M.
now i want the next 5 sessions.
one good day can be chasing.. a full week of inflows tells me there’s an actual bid.
3) $ENA / $LINK / $AAVE

they’re already leading ETH, so these are first on my pullback list.
ENA for synthetic-dollar beta.
LINK for the oracle + RWA trade.
AAVE because V4 is live and lending should benefit if capital returns onchain.
with AAVE, i’m also watching weETH and wstETH against ETH.
if these staked-ETH wrappers start trading 8–9% below ETH, leveraged positions can unwind very quickly.
4) Robinhood Chain
i’m watching activity here.. not inventing a token.
gas subsidies end Sep 29.
if trading and mints remain active after that, Robinhood may have brought real users onchain.
if activity disappears with free gas.. we know what it was.
5) $LIT
Lighter is already near $1B in TVS
one of the few newer Ethereum L2s where the token has size and the product has actual usage.
6) the institutional bid
BitMine owns roughly 4.8% of the ETH supply and is still buying toward 5%.
ETHB has also taken in around $607M since launch.
i’ll be watching ETHB against ETHA now.
if institutions start choosing staking yield over plain spot exposure, that’s a much bigger signal than another roadmap announcement.
7) tokenization
$ONDO only becomes a serious watch if BUIDL and USDS keep growing with it.
otherwise it’s just the ticker catching the narrative.
WHAT IM NOT WATCHING:
- OP / ARB / STRK / ZK just because ETH moved
- restaking until the TVL actually stabilizes
- Glamsterdam as a September catalyst
without a confirmed mainnet date
- Fusaka as “upcoming” when it already shipped
- Base creator coins
for now i need 3 things:
ETH above $2,500.
another week of ETF inflows.
Robinhood activity surviving the end of gas subsidies.
if those confirm, then i’ll start digging much deeper into the Ethereum ecosystem.
