A Reminder Regarding Eclipses
A deep partial lunar eclipse will be visible in parts of the world.
The sun and moon are two of the great signs of Allah. Through their eclipses, He causes His servants to fear Him. Eclipses are not merely spectacles to watch; they should awaken our hearts, shake us out of our heedlessness and remind us of the Day when “the sun and the moon will be joined together” (75:9).
Let us reflect on His signs, engage in worship, seek forgiveness for our sins, make duʿāʾ, give ṣadaqah and perform lengthy nafl ṣalāh.
