In the first picture, you see a child’s school bag soaked in blood, A kid killed when a so-called Iśrael -USA joint coalition bombed a school in Iran yesterday.
In the second and third pictures, on that same day, someone in Bangladesh is trying way too hard to be funny.
Yes, I get it. boycotting Coke isn’t going to stop Iśrael And U.S.A from bombing a school anywhere in the world. Even if every single Bangladeshi stopped buying Coke tomorrow, it wouldn’t make the tiniest dent in their lives.
But that’s not even the point.
It was never just about buying Coke. It’s about basic ethics. It’s about the respect you show to thousands of kids in Palestine who wake up to the sound of buildings collapsing over their heads. It’s about the humanity you show to a girl who went to school last day and never came back.
And if you can’t even offer that much, at the very least, don’t turn it into a joke.
Because honestly, for what it’s worth, you are not even funny.
