DeepSeek is showing AI-built games and 3D worlds
Its October 17 demos include a racing game, the Forbidden City and a Godot recreation of Portal 2.
The new DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 is live on its website, app and API. DeepSeek says it completes tasks faster, writes shorter answers and improves benchmarks versus the previous version, aiming to lower task costs.
It uses reinforcement learning with self-feedback to improve complete projects, from games to 3D models. It is optimized for DeepSeek Harness, Tencent CodeBuddy and WorkBuddy; the recommended Harness version is v0.2.1-rc.1 or later.
The scorecard is DeepSeek's own evaluation; results depend on the benchmark and harness.
