While Israel criticises Turkey for occupying half of Cyprus, Tel Aviv continues to buy petrochemical products from the Gastria (Kalecik) oil refinery. Ships from Northern Cyprus travel almost daily between Haifa and Gastria/Kalecik.

If Turkey was serious about defeating Israel, they could throttle the entire Israeli economy by shutting off Azerbaijan's access to Turkey's pipelines. Israel imports ~70% of its natural gas from Azerbaijan which is delivered to the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
